CNC Operator – Full-Time

Salary: £25,000 – £40,000 per year, depending on experience

Location: West Drayton

Role:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable client for a skilled CNC Operator to join a

growing manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for

precision engineering and a desire to contribute to high-quality production in a fast-paced

environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC router machinery to produce accurate parts and components.

• Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models for correct machine setup.

• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

• Conduct quality checks using measuring tools and gauges.

• Assemble components in line with health and safety standards.

• Handle and move materials safely within a workshop or warehouse environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues to streamline production processes and reduce waste.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC operation.

• Strong mathematical skills for precise measurement and calculation.

• Hands-on experience with materials such as Aluminium, ACM, Acrylics, Foamex, and MDF.

• Working knowledge of CAD software – VCarve and/or Adobe Illustrator preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

• Previous experience in assembly work is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Background in signage is beneficial but not essential.
