Machine Operator - Plastics

Our client specializes in manufacturing extruded and injection-molded plastic products, supplying a wide range of industries, including construction, viticulture, and medical sectors.

Job Description:

We are seeking motivated and reliable Machine Operators to join our client’s dynamic team. This role involves operating extrusion machines to ensure the production of high-quality plastic products.

Location: Hillsborough
Pay rate - Dependant on experinece 
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Additional hours available based on orders)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor extrusion machines and slip sheeting machines.
• Granulate and grind PVC materials according to job sheets (handwritten).
• Set up machines and oversee production cycles.
• Identify and rectify quality faults to maintain product standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Follow Health & Safety protocols.
